Carol Lynn Brand (Kingston), age 81, of Bay Du Vin, New Brunswick, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, surrounded by family.
Born in Bay Du Vin on March 16, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Ferne Kingston (Johnson).
Carol is survived by her son, Trevor (Carey) of Miramichi, New Brunswick; her grandchildren, Tylor Brand (Lorraine), Ryley Brand, Brook-Lyn Brand (Tyler); her great-grandchildren, Aria and Myles, all of Miramichi; her brother-in-law, Herb Brand of Riverview, New Brunswick; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, George Brand; her son, Todd Brand; her three sisters, Ivy Froehlar, Lil Letcher, Sue Adcock; and her brothers, Windsor Kingston, Lloyd Kingston, and Benson Kingston.
Carol dedicated her life to caring for others, both personally and professionally. Through her work as a caregiver, she touched countless lives with her compassion, patience, and genuine love for helping those in need. She truly loved her job and the people she cared for, and it showed in everything she did. She was also a member of the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church.
Above all else, Carol was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she loved them fiercely and unconditionally. She will always be remembered for her kind heart, her quick wit, and her wonderful sense of humor.
She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life: a cup of tea, a good book, and her favorite music playing in the background. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and countless cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
