His faith in the Lord Jesus Christ guided his every step, shaping him into a man of integrity and kindness.
He was predeceased by his parents, Alan and Geraldine, and his son, Scott.
Burton leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. For 63 years, he stood by his beloved wife, Alice, and together they nurtured their cherished daughter, Carla Dumaresq (Teresa Love). Burton is also survived by his sisters: Charlyne Swan (Larry Swan), and Cheryl Bremner (Denis Bremner); as well as his extended family of nieces and nephews.
Burton’s warm smile, humor and quick wit endeared him to all who knew him, making him a beacon of light in the lives of many. Today, as we bid farewell to a true patriot and faithful servant, we find solace in knowing that Burton’s spirit lives on in the memories and hearts of those he touched.
